Gill is a Dorset artist and children's book author and illustrator. Her paintings are in watercolours with pen and ink. Most of her life she has been lucky enough to have lived in Dorset and cannot remember when wildlife did not fascinate her. Her work has been influenced by the beauty of the natural environment.
She exhibited at Purbeck Arts Week in 2017: venues Rollington Barn, Verges Exhibition Arne and Durlston Castle Fine Foundation Gallery. In 2018 she won the Purbeck Art Weeks Programme Cover Award.
Her past career was as a Primary School Teacher in Poole. This encouraged her to write and illustrate children's books about taking care of our environment. These books are for sale at local shops in Purbeck.
Gill has been commissioned to paint a piece inspired by murmurations for a children's clothing range in the Lake District. See their website for more details.
