Gallery of original artwork on canvas

Picture
Over Ballard to Swanage Bay 100cm x 100cm Mixed media and 24ct gold leaf On deep edge canvas £995
Juliet is an artist based in Dorset and Buckinghamshire. After gaining a BA hons in Fine Art from Surrey Institute of Art and Design, she became a painter, art teacher and mother to three children.
Inspired by the Purbeck coastline, and particularly Swanage, her work seeks to capture the area in both abstract and representational ways.
Using mixed media on canvas allows her to achieve a 3D relief to the surface so that you can touch the textures in the work, feel the craggy cliffs; the sea foam; the rocks.
Metal leaf catches the light in ways that change just like the weather and gives the feeling of a preciousness which she feels about this area.
All of the artwork for sale is owned by the artists until it is sold to the customer. The gallery is acting as an agent, selling on behalf of the artist on a sale or return basis.
