Mike Topham
Mike has exhibited in galleries throughout UK and the Middle East, and was a member of Sussex and Surrey Guilds and Hampshire Artists’ Cooperative. He produces creations in a variety of materials including wire, plaster and paper, in two and three dimensions.
His collection of work at the gallery includes wire pictures which are based on the simple and humorous things in everyday life and are often inspired by a phrase, saying or childhood memory. Each picture is individually made in various gauges of copper wire, which are positioned and soldered before cleaning and finally painting and mounting.
Large and medium pictures are numbered, and all pictures are signed.
