Jade is an artist who makes jewellery from silver clay. Inspired by the Jurassic coast she takes moulds from shells and fossils. She then impresses silver clay into the mould. The clay is fired in a kiln which burns the clay leaving beautiful silver designs behind. The silver can be buffed to create a patina.

Jade finds that being creative helps her mental and physical wellbeing.

She studied special effects artistry at Plymouth University and now works as the studio manager at Metal Clay Ltd.
