The Isle of Purbeck Arts Club
Purbeck New Wave Gallery actively supports this club by being a central point for information and its organisation. Gina is the Chairman of the club and organises the evening group.
The Isle of Purbeck Arts Club is a charity within Purbeck, centred in Swanage, that organises and supports a variety of Arts based activities for all to enjoy. From painting to poetry, outings to bursaries, or even just socialising with like-minded people, the club has something on offer for everyone. The club also funds tutored art workshops from time to time, but mutual support is its foundation. All abilities are welcome to join and have fun or to exhibit in our summer art exhibition.
This year we again organised a children and young people's art competition. The age groups and winners were:
5-8yrs: Leo and Kyle
9-12yrs: Alice, Rory and Eve
13-17yrs: Verity
