John Bishop

John Bishop lives in Swanage and has been a member of the Purbeck Group of Artists. Recently retired, he is now devoting more time to his artwork. Working in acrylics, he paints large pictures of the local area. He is interested in detail which is prominent in his often lifelike works. He uses light to a stunning effect. John has a background in illustration and carpentry.
