Christmas in Swanage 2021
We've been very busy preparing for Christmas this year! Gina has made an advent calendar in the style of a Scandinavian house with a surprise drawing for each day. The window is dressed as a Magical Woodland. Why? To be cheerful for a happier Christmas this year and also to take part in the best dressed Christmas window competition. What a fantastic way to get the Swanage businesses to make an extra effort to make the town look sparkly and pretty!
We're also taking part in the "What's not my line?" fun competition. For £1 you can go round a numbered trail finding objects in the shop windows that they don't usually sell. There are some festive prizes to be won.
On December 4th we have our annual Christmas Street Market with festive food, arts and crafts. Plus more arts and crafts being sold from the beach huts on the seafront from 27th November for a month.
And of course the local steam railway has its special Train of Lights running from next weekend.
Many reasons to visit Swanage and lots of gift ideas from our gallery as well as the festivities.
